Community Awareness When it comes to being involved in the community, Albany Physical Therapy is a true participator! We support a number of races and walks for charity, as well as many area sporting events. Qualified staff members offer lectures on various topics related to physical therapy and health, and will either host a presentation at our facilities or will come to your athletic, community, school, corporate or civic group.

Having a corporate health fair or career day? We'd be happy to set up our display booth loaded with the most current information on physical therapy, athletic training and sports trainers. Our quarterly newsletter, "Therapeutic News," is packed with articles submitted by experts in the ever-changing field of physical therapy. A "sports therapy focus" page, touching on everything from caffeine to tennis elbow, is available for patients and as a giveaway item.

Current topics include:
  • Nutrition & Body Fat
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation & Balance Disorders (Dizziness & Vertigo)
  • Osteoporosis
  • Back Education Program
  • Headache & Biofeedback
  • Manual Therapy Clinic
  • Sports-Specific Injuries
  • Community Outreach
  • Cancer Rehabilitation
